Full description:Karnov, an action-packed platform game from 1987, is the brainchild of Data East. The game introduces us to Jinborov Karnovski, aka Karnov, a fire-breathing strongman hailing from the Central Asian republics of the Soviet Union. The game is set on a quest where Karnov, in his pursuit of the ultimate treasure, battles through nine different levels brimming with formidable foes such as sword-wielding monks, dinosaurs, djinn, and much more. Each level climax concludes with a boss battle that rewards Karnov with a piece of a treasure map upon defeat. The game culminates with a final face-off against 'The Wizard', the guardian of the last map piece. Karnov was later adapted into various home systems including NES, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum among others.
