Description
"Step back in time with Capcom's classic arcade game, Section-Z, originally released in 1985 and adapted for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. This side-view shoot-'em-up game plunges players into an intense intergalactic mission set in the third millennium. Take control of an astronaut, infiltrating and decimating a space station orbiting the Earth, known to be the secret base of the alien empire, Balangool. Navigate through a maze of 26 alphabetically ordered corridors, starting from Section A and culminating in the titular Section Z. Each stage, alternating between horizontal and vertical scrolling, brings its own unique challenges and boss battles, leading to the final showdown against the fearsome 'L Brain' at Section Z. The NES version adds a twist with three stages, each comprising 20 sections, and a redesigned level layout. Players can upgrade their standard-issue laser rifle to more powerful weapons, and also summon special transmission shells for additional firepower. Whether you're a fan of old-school side-scrolling shooters or a retro game lover, Section-Z offers an addictive blend of action, strategy, and nostalgia.
Game Controls
Control your character using an eight-way joystick. Use one button for shooting and the other for changing the aim direction. In the NES version, one button is used to fire in one direction, while the other fires in the opposite direction.
